Investigate insulation resistance condition on Ring3 Inverter 1

SAVA detected a persistent insulation resistance condition with an estimated loss of 3.2 MWh since 1 February. Inspect the DC side of this inverter and identify the affected string.

Before you start

DC voltages remain present while the array is illuminated. Isolate, lock off and verify zero voltage before touching any conductor.

Status

Isolate the inverter and confirm safe working conditions
Visually inspect DC cabling and connectors for moisture
Measure insulation resistance string by string
Check grounding continuity at the combiner
Inspect module junction boxes on the affected strings
Record measured values and restore the inverter to service
